The integration of technology is when technology is used in the every day classroom activities in order to enhance the curriculum as well as improve student motivation and interaction. There are times when teachers use technology simply just to use them. Technology is a great tool for education, but if used incorrectly then it can actually do more harm than good. It can cause disruptions in the classroom that can hinder the learning process.

Understanding by Design or "UbD Lesson Planning"UbD lesson plan or Understanding by Design Lesson Plans, are the educational planning tools that allows the teacher to focus on the desired outcome in order to design their curriculum, classroom instruction, and assessments. This design was created by Jay McTighe and Grant Wiggins. According to McTighe and Wiggins, the UbD design will help lead students to a deeper more critical understanding of the content that is being taught. Below is video of Grant Wiggins, one of the creators, explaining what the UbD Lesson Plan is and how it is beneficial in the classroom.
